The Violin Player. This photograph was taken on assignment in Soweto, South Africa when I visited Buskaid, a charity that takes pupils, many from the poorest areas of the township, and teaches them to play classical instruments.

The photograph won The De Groot Foundation, Grand Prix de la Decouverte Award of Merit for Portraiture. And, it seems ever popular.

This photograph has traditionally been printed on black /white archival photo paper and mounted and framed. It is now available under silicone "glass" or on aluminium dibond. Sizes: 14 x 10cm to 84 x 50cm
